  Dr. Carrie Colbert, Dr. C to her students, manages the marketing side of the Management Division.鈥疭he teaches the majority of the鈥痬arketing courses, including Advertising and Brand Promotions, Digital Media Marketing, Consumer Behavior, and Personal Selling and Customer Relationships.

  By trade,鈥疍r. Colbert is a marketing management professional with over鈥�20鈥痽ears of experience in strategic marketing, promotion development, data analysis, and marketing management.鈥疭he has held senior-level positions with鈥疺alassis鈥疌ommunications,鈥疍ole Food Company, Symphony IRI, and The Nielsen Company.鈥疭he has also鈥痺orked with many CPG manufacturers such as Nestle USA, Kraft,鈥疢ission Tortillas,鈥痑nd Nissin Foods,鈥痑long with various grocery and drug retailers (e.g., Ahold USA, Delhaize, Winn Dixie, Rite Aid, etc.).

  Dr. Colbert owns and operates Doctor Colbert Consulting, a marketing management consulting company where she helps small businesses build their customer base and increase exposure.

  Bio
  Edward Royer came to 糖心vlog传媒 after practicing law and holding various roles in sport administration for 15 years in Florida. Ed ran a successful law firm in Tampa, Florida, where he practiced at the State and Federal levels. After obtaining his Juris Doctorate and developing multiple successful law firms assisting clients around the world, in primarily a consumer advocate role, he returned to the University of Florida to obtain his MS in Sport Management. Ed worked closely with industry professionals and youth sport organizations to develop, implement, and train organizations and coaches on character literacy development in youth sports.

  His professional career outside of academia includes work as an attorney as well as a coaching role with the New England Revolution. He has applied this combination of practical and academic experience to a variety of consultancies in the sports industry throughout the country, relating to legal issues, facility management and development, program administration, and non-profit operations.

  In the soccer industry, Ed has served as a scout, a director for a nationally ranked youth club, and a head coach while winning coach of the year twice in Florida; worked with the AS Roma United States Academy team; and created coaching education and trained coaches. In addition to his current role as an academy staff coach with the New England Revolution, he currently serves as the Director of Player Development for the 糖心vlog传媒 Men鈥檚 Soccer team.

  Ed is active in a variety of civic and cultural organizations, including non-profits like United Through Football and the Dreams Heard Foundation. He also serves as faculty advisor for the 糖心vlog传媒 Sport and Recreation Management student club and is actively engaged in event management roles at 糖心vlog传媒. Outside of professional interests, he travels, reads, writes, and enjoys the outdoors while living in New Hampshire with his family.

  Erin Wilkinson Hartung is an educator, writer, and business consultant with a passion for global learning and entrepreneurial growth. A former Fulbright Scholar in Tanzania, she brings a rich international perspective to the leadership and marketing courses she teaches. Her research focuses on the intersection of small business models and consumer behavior across both emerging and established markets. Outside the classroom, Erin enjoys exploring new places, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending quality time with her family and two energetic dogs.

  Born in Medellin, Colombia, Dr. Parra dreamed of acquiring a prestigious education in the United States. She came to the U.S. with an international student visa, and through the years, she had the opportunity to study at institutions such as Miami-Dade College, Barry University, Florida Gulf Coast University, and Nova Southeastern University where she earned her Doctorate in Public Administration. A professional with over 19 years of experience in the field of education, Dr. Parra presents significant contributions as an administrator and faculty member, including exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. She offers 18+ years of multi-site college/university leadership experience gained via exemplary long-term tenures with two of Florida鈥檚 largest academic institutions.

  As an Enrollment Services Administrator with a background covering all aspects of undergraduate and graduate student support services, her experience includes:

  Bio
  Dr. Matthew Ruckman is a Sport and Recreation Management faculty member. During his tenure in higher education, Dr. Ruckman has specialized in the area of Sport Governance to include NCAA governance, policy development, and policy enforcement. He has participated in NCAA compliance reviews and made recommendations for best practices. In addition, he has spearheaded comprehensive assessments of gender equity in intercollegiate athletics. Dr. Ruckman is actively involved in a number of research and evaluation projects in the collegiate sport industry. He has authored publications on student-athlete welfare and gender equity in intercollegiate athletics. Dr. Ruckman鈥檚 current research focuses on student-athlete welfare topics including overall wellness and career preparation. Dr. Ruckman is also currently exploring fan satisfaction in the competitive collegiate sport environment. Finally, Dr. Ruckman also conducts evaluation projects for city parks and recreation systems. He has developed strategic plans for parks and recommended capital improvement projects.

  Dr. Jalili鈥檚 accounting career includes five years of experience as a staff accountant and supervising auditor, two years as an internal auditor, and three years as a chief financial officer. Beyond his hands-on accounting experience, he has worked as an independent consultant and has taught at the undergraduate, graduate, and executive levels for over 25 years.

  Dr. Jalili is married with two children. His interests include reading, formulating and solving problems, soccer, martial arts, mountain climbing, watching classic movies, opera, and old boxing matches.
